Vineyards situated on the hills of Casalbordino with exposure to the south.
|SOIL - ALTITUDE||
Medium mixture, prevalence of clay and sand with an altitude of 150 – 200 metres above sea level.
Espalier with a density of 3800 – 4500 plants per hectare / Abruzzi pergola with a density of 2000 – 2500 plants per hectare with a production of 110 quintal/ha in grapes with a yield of hl 75.
After the first week in October, reaching full phenolic maturity selecting the best grapes.
Removal of grape stalks and maceration of the grapes for 10-15 days with periodic repassing of must over the grape dregs and pressing marc head in steel fermenters with an automatic controlled temperature of maceration and fermentation.
|AGEING - CONSERVATION||
Aged in hl 50 oak barrels for 10-12 months and refined in bottle for 1 months before being placed on the market. Store in a cool place at a temperature of 8-10 °C.
Bright and intense ruby red, brilliant and lively, with light violet reflections.
Intense bouquet, fruity with hints of wild berries and ripe red fruit, pleasantly toasted and spicy.
Harmonic, supple, round, full-bodied and persistent.
