Vineyards situated on the hills of Casalbordino with exposure to the south.
|SOIL - ALTITUDE||
Medium mixture, tendentially clayey at 150 – 200 m above sea level.
Espalier with a density of 3800 – 4500 plants with a production of 7 tons/ha in grapes with a yield in wine of hl 45 per hectare.
Following the first week in October reaching full phenolic maturity selecting the best grapes.
Removal of grape stalks and contact of the skins with the must for about 20 days in small steel fermenters at a temperature of 28 °C with periodic “delestages” and repassing of must over the grape dregs.
|AGEING - CONSERVATION||
Ageing in barrique for 12-15 months with further refinement in bottles for three months before being placed on the market. Store in a cool place at a temperature of about 8 °C.
Intense ruby red, brilliant with violet reflections.
Fragrant and fruity, persistent and intense with clear notes of spices, liquorice and vanilla.
Balanced, full, warm and an embracing good body, it expresses itself with a good intensity and pleasant persistent lingering taste.
18-20 °C, we suggest to open the bottle 1 hour before serving.
