Vineyards situated in the district of Casalbordino with favourable exposure to the sun.

TERRENO - ALTITUDINE

Medium mixture, tendentially argillaceous with an altitude of 150 – 200 metres above sea level.

VITICOLTURA

Espalier with a density of 3800 – 4500 plants and 70 quintal with yield in wine of hl 45 per hectare.

VENDEMMIA

The period following the first week in october, reaching the phenolic maturity and selecting the best grapes.

VINIFICAZIONE

Removal of grape stalks and long soaking with “delestages” and repassing of must over the grape dregs in small capacity stainless steel containers with automatic control of the temperature of maceration and fermentation.

AFFINAMENTO - CONSERVAZIONE

Aged from 12 to 15 months in barrique and refined in bottles for three months before being placed on the market. Store in a dry and cool place at a temperature of about 5-7°C.

COLORE

Intense bright ruby red with violet hues.

PROFUMO

Fragrant and fruity, persistent and intense, with clear scents of spieces, liquorice and vanilla.

SAPORE

Harmonic, full-body, intense with a persistant pleasant taste.

TEMPERATURA DI SERVIZIO

Serve at a temperature of 18-20°C opening the bottle at least one hour before consumption.
